23rd SCOTTISH HIGHLAND GAMES

Location: Kanda University of International Studies, Makuhari map
Date: Sunday, October 8th.
Competitions: 7-a-side for 1066 Cup, Masters 6-a-side for Magellen Cup.
Registration Period: Registration will end Oct 1st, to register, please CONTACT US.
Teams entering to date:
1066 Cup : Sala FC, Alba, AFC Wanderers, WallStreet Geckoes, BFC, Vagabonds, Azzuri FC, Amanis FC, Shane FC, Swiss Kickers.
Magellan Masters: Oasis-5 FC, Tokyo Blues, BFC masters, ELI, Team Keri.

General Rules 1066 Cup.

  1. Teams to consist of 7 players including keeper. Up to 5 substitutes may be used and can be revolved at any time.
  2. Group matches will be 10-mins each half with a 1 minute turn around. (could change depending on number of teams)
  3. Semi-Finals and Finals will be 12 mins each half.
  4. Teams to arrive at the ground at 9:00am sharp in preparation for a 9:30 kick off.
  5. Entry fee of ¥10,000 per team plus ¥1,500 per person to enter the Highland Games. Team tickets @ ¥12,000 for 10 tickets will be available to teams on registration.
  6. Due to lack of referees, all teams are expected to provide a referee for a couple of games - to be scheduled on the day.
  7. Usual FIFA rules for the matches, except; no off-side.
  8. All players must have their own insurance as Footy Japan Ltd. will not be responsible for any injuries sustained during the games.
  9. This is a family, charity event, so players are asked to curb their use of 'colorful' language as ladies, children and senior citizens will be present. Also on field we would like to see fair play and patience with inexperienced officials.

General Rules Masters Comp.

  1. Teams to consist of 6 players including keeper. Up to 4 substitutes may be used and can be revolved at any time.
  2. Masters tournament is for over 35s, Ladies & Social teams. Teams will be allowed to field a couple of under 35 'social' players, but no 'ringers'. This is aimed at helping some of the sponsors' teams, so in the interests of good sportsmanship please don't abuse this rule.
  3. Group matches will be 8 mins each half with a 1 minute turn around
  4. Teams will arrive at the ground at 9:00am sharp in preparation for a 9:30 kick off.
  5. Entry fee of ¥10,000 per team plus ¥1,500 per person to enter the Highland Games. Team tickets @ ¥12,000 for 10 tickets will be available to teams on registration.
  6. All teams will be expected to provide a referee for a couple of games - to be scheduled on the day.
  7. Usual FIFA rules for the matches, except; kick-ins instead of throw-ins, no off-side, keeper throws must bounce in own half (no drop kicks)
